I took your advice and download Ubuntu and install it in a live USB stick and installed it. Needless to say, I love it. You point out that I must be an idiot for upgrading to 14.10. I would have to agree with you LOL!

i would not say that in so many words

BUT
i do find my self becoming more like the professors i hated for calling me out on mistakes by asking " why ? "

and i do make many of the normal everyday - stupid human errors-- that we make all the time

The problem as I see it is self-imposed politically correct speak. We no longer can call a spade a spade. On this and many forums, you may not disagree with anyone. You are not permitted to tell a person they are wrong. (using the word "your wrong") Has the internet turned into a place for only liberals? Where has are free speech gone. John, I know you did not call me an idiot. You had to tip-toe around rather than say the words. Which is a shame!
