Nightmare on Ubuntu Street
Over the years, I have read much about problems brought about upon doing an UPGRADE to one's operating system. Well, sports fans I am in such a nightmare. I WAS running Ubuntu 14.04 which was totally update prior to my upgrade to Ubuntu 14.10 I for the life of me can not figure out why I am unable to get passed the dreaded BLACK SCREEN. I have my HP desk top set up so I must login buy way of BOIS. So I am sure that the operateing system is up and running. I just can not open my deak top screen. What moves should I make to resolve this problem my friends.

What is the make/model of the computer and, specifically, what video card does it have?

This is very strange. I was under the impression that I was get help with my black screen problem caused from an upgrade.
Did I just step into The Twilight Zone? I have copy and posted reams of information and now I find out I working with a person that does not know anything about Ubuntu, are you kidding me. Were is Frankbell? Why is SYG00 even here if he has no answers? |
I was attempting to ensure we had correct info on your environment. With an attitude like that you may not get any help.
