Hi let me introduce myself at first my name is Yasin Emre Esen
it's great to be here I think linuxquestions.org has the most newbie friendly forum as far as I know.
Here is my problem:
I have installed centos 5.2 to my desktop
which has GA-8IPE1000-G motherboard with marvell gigabit nic
and 2 pci itspeed ITP-NIC-C39 nic 1 skystar (i don't hope that'll work) and 1 edimax wireless mimo card (this one either)
But I can't reach my home network and internet
How can I make these three nic (gigabit or other itspeeds) work for me?
I installed linux driver from marvell's web site "Linux Driver Install Package for Yukon Devices" even after successful installation I can't use the gigabit one.
I am desperate, any solution offer will be highly apreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Have you configured them through Administration > Network? Once you have done so, you'll also need to reboot or restart the network (/etc/init.d/network restart). But are you sure that the driver was properly installed to begin with? Execute lsmod and check whether the driver is listed at all. If it is, then you just need to configure as pointed out already.
