NIC not acceptable at RH8

Hi All,
I have installed a Red Hat Linux 8 on Compaq DeskPro .I have a DSL internet connection connected through LAN.My network card is DLink-DFE 538tx.
RedHat Linux 8 didn't detect my network card.
How to connect internet connection using this network card?

Pls suggest a suitable drivers with links.

Red Hat 8 is more than 6 years old. It has not been supported in several years. Red Hat changed names to Fedora Core after Red Hat 9, and Fedora Core 5 is now out. That would be Red Hat 14 if they didn't have a name change in the middle. Please get an up to date installation. They added support for that card in the kernel is 2002 or 2003. Any distro from the last few years will auto detect that card and have the driver.

JimBass is right. My suggestion would be to Check out a small linux or a live cd.
However, Check out the internet wizard and use Ethernet.
