Nginx and node.js create proxy server

Hi all,
i am a linux newbie , i have a question :

i have two server A and B , on server B i store any my websites (a.com, b.com, ....)

i want to install Nginx and node.js on server A to do bellow task :

+ create a proxy server(nginx) and web-server(node.js) in server A

+ all request from my client to server B have to pass through proxy server in server A , proxy will cached all website that server B return and transfer data to node.js
client <----> server A (proxy server) <---> server B
client <----> other server or other websites

+ so, server B (suppse : server A have never dead) may be dead i still sent my request to server B. But in this case proxy server in server A will switch my request to Node.js webserver that will return the data i need !
client <----> server A (proxy server <--> node.js webserver) server B

so how can i do ?

thank for help !
