NFS won't mount

I am trying to establish an NFS mount and am getting a timeout error when mounting the volume on the client. Help?

Do you have any iptables or similar firewall rules on either server?

If I remember correctly, you'll need to be able to use 2049/both.

NFS uses several different ports, some of which are by default assigned dynamically by the RPC portmapper. What does "rpcinfo -p <server IP>" show on the client side? Also, have you verified that NFS services are running on the server? Finally, which version of NFS are you using (version 4 brought a few changes to the way that things are set up).
