nforce2 and ATI Radeon 9700

I don't know if anyone in here has found a way to get the Radeon 9700 to work in AGP mode with the Nforce 2 chipset. I've read that Nvidia is being a pain and not releasing universal GART support yet. Could someone confirm this for me or if they have a sollution please tell me.

I have an nforce2 chipset on my motherboard and I have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro and I have the same problem as you

No help, just the same destiny. I have also Ati Radeon 9000 Pro and nForce2 chipset mobo. My problem seems to be that the finall installation of the ati driver fails or it could be that I make the installation wrong order. It could be the agpgart but avery body is telling that you should load the dam driver before the drm driver but how?
