Currently Ubuntu releases in the 4th and 10th month of each year (as far as I know the exact date is not set).

http://www.ubuntu.com/products/whatIsubuntu/releases - v10 is in alpha now so I would say we're looking at April for a release. And this was easily searchable using Google, by the way.
