newsgroups access from kmail

Hello All:

I've got a ton on questions, but one step at a time.
I'm at the point where I've weened myself from MS. However, I miss accessing a bunch of newsgroups from an email client.
Can I access newsgroups from KMail?

I don't think I like to view ng's from the net. I'd rather see the posts and replies and the dialogues within a mail client format.
Can someone out there help, or suggest an alternative (a decent one, thank you)?
