Welcome to LQ,

I'd check Kali's site. They have documentation.

nmap.org

And first learn about networking and the fundamentals of computing. I.e. this is not stuff for a newbie.

I believe pluralsight.com has a few good courses on the subject. April is free of charge. I admit that I wrote content for that company, though for a totally different subject.

It would probably pay to learn medicine before attempting brain surgery.

OP: "pentesting" is a fairly broad subject and you should look at the different areas to see what interests you: Web applications, network devices, network infrastructure and concepts, operating systems; you need to learn them all depending on what you intend to focus on.

As others have said, learn the basics first. It takes a certain mentality not everyone has.

U R Wanting To Learn Pen Testing??

I worked at bic for a while in the R & D Department. I'd say learn how to get around Linux itself comfortably, before trying to be the next hacker online, and you do not actually need Kali to become savvy in that area of expertise. Actually that part is a requirement to become savvy in that area of expertize.
