Newbie Resources?

Ok I finally got Linux to see both of my NIC's, now I would like to attempt to connect my linux computer to my other computers. Can someone direct me to a easy to understand networking guide that will work in conjunction with Red Hat 7.2. I would like to configure via the command prompt as I dont like Red Hat's GUI conf tool. I looked over the Red Hat manuals but was a bit confused =( so any help is greatly appreciated!

Hit the Linux Documentation Project, they have plenty of cool guides! Check out the HOWTOS, the categorical listing.
