It shouldn't be that hard at all to install Fedora.

You should just pop the cd in and let it do its thing, all you have to do is set a few things and make sure they are correct like mouse type and time zone.

The easiest way is to make room on your hard drive using a partitioning tool that resizes partitions such as "Partition Magic" if you want to keep windows and Linux. Once you resize the windows partition and get enough room for linux, start the install procedre by restarting your computer with the cd in the drive.

Just go through the steps, let it set up your partition automatically, and it should be an ok setup for your first time use. It will probably want to install the bootloader to your MBR which is what i did and it works fine.

Just make sure you back up any important data, and as always, YMMV
