Newbie need advise setting up server and which Mail software to use

Im new to linux. I was looking for some pointers setting up my own server. which distro (probably use Centos or Umbuntu) and also want to setup webpage and email server. Are there any good sites books out there can help with this? Thanks Rodger

You don't have to do each step depending on what you want but its a good guide. If that doesn't cover what you need come back here with a more specific question and I will help you out.
