newbie learning NMAP, NESSUS, NIKTO

Not a hacker!!! Trying to perform a security test for an organization that I work for.

I am trying to learn Linux and at the same time learn how to use NMAP, NESSUS, HYDRA, and NIKTO.

I am trying to install these uder Nessus so that when I run Nessus the above programs will run also. I can't seem to install these correctly so that Nessus recognizes them. Can anyone provide some links or documentation on how to do this? I am a total Linux newbie so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
