Newbie here and got question about MySQL++ in linux

Hi all,
i am newbie in this forum. nice to meet you all here.

i am now using linux Suse(only experience it for few months) and still new to MySQL. i am using mysql as a normal user and not administrator, but i want to use mysql++ to access MySQL data using C++. what should i do?

where can i get/download MySQL++(which version) and do i need to install it? where and how to i install it? Sorry that for asking such questions because i really no idea about it since i am still new in linux environment and MySQL. Thanks for any reply

Which distribution are you using? You might be able to install mysql++ through its package manager.

you mean distribution for the linux or mysql i am using? i don't know about it because i just apply a linux account and also mysql from the related department in my company? this mean that i am not the administrator. got any command to know about it? i just know that my linux version is 2.6.5-7.151-smp. mysql server version is 5.0.26-standard-log

i don't think that they have install mysql++. is it only need to get/download the related .h files in order to use mysql++? or need to install it in linux?
