newbie help on suse 9.2

1 day into having suse installed, I have got a few problems if anyone could help, that would be appreciated.

1 I think I need drivers for my printer hp psc 1310, or as its a usb printer could it be usb drivers I need ?

2 I d/loaded firefox for linux I installed it (i think !) but there was no icon placed on the desktop I have to go into the extracted folder and click on firefox to launch it, I,ve tried moving it to the desktop but when I try to launch firefox it says not found. Also in suse help it gives detailed instructions on using firefox; as though it is already part of the suse package when first installed

3I have a wireless pci card that under xp is connected to a router elsewhere in my home. I need to how to get this working suse is not showing any recognition of this card

thanks

I will probably be back with more problems tomorrow !

1) Use the printer configuration utility in yast, also make sure you have hpoj (hpij) package installed (using yast software module as well)
2) If using KDE, right click on an empty space on your desktop -> Create New -> Link to Application. Use the tool that starts up to make a desktop shortcut and then use the icon in your firefox directory or download one from kde-look.org and put it in /usr/share/icons.
3) You need to have a package called ndiswrapper installed. I don't know much about wireless so others will help.
