i have just downloaded knoppix 3.4 and now i want to install it on my hdd. being new in linux and all i can t do it by myself. what i have seen so far about linux....so much better then windows: no audio and video codecs, no any other useless programs, no viruses, etc.
if u can help me, please do.
p.s. does installing my usb wireless lan client adapter have anything to do with the fact that knoppix is on the cd and not on my hdd? i couldn t get to work that s y.
thanks
may provide you w/some instruction, however, i've seen lots of threads here about problems after a knoppix hd install. you may want to search the forum for problems and solutions before taking the plunge so to speak.
good luck.
I just installed the new 3.4 and it is nice, just do not do a apt-get upgrade until you edit your source list,it has stable unstable testing and experimental all of them.Like I said I'm very impressed.
