Hi. I am the new with Linux.
And I am trying to work with it on command mode (no any X-windows).
Question: How do you search for file on entire drive (on all partitions)?

you can use the find or locate commands, man find or man locate for more details on how to use these to search... and to search for a file on all hard drive or partitions, you would want to start in /
