new Vmware old rhel 5.. disk not recognized

This VM also has RHEL6 on it. And with RHEL6 it has
these drivers loaded.

When I try to install RHEL5 on it, it can find disk, and prompt me to select driver. And nothing with "mpt" is there.

Also HW is
LSI Logic / symbois Logic 53c1030 PCI-X Fusion-MPT dual....
Is there a way I could force installation media to load these drivers ?

Thank you.

I faced similar issue on my Dell workstation wherein RHEL 6 install fine but I wasn't able to install RHEL5. Here are the options that you can try:

1. Create an iso image with those drivers included.
2. Get those drivers file onto USB drive and supply them during installation by point to USB.
3. Create a bootable USB using unetbootin which contain those driver files.

You might check the disk emulation being used.

You might try setting the disk emulation to IDE.
