New to Linux - not OS's
Just trying to learn something new RHEL6.2
I've been involved with computers before there was operating systems - machine language only - Altair 8800 and machine language Harris 9700, good with Windows and OS/2, certified in both. Company says I will learn it and teach it to all - so here we go... |
Welcome to LQ, TPT! We're in the same genre - my first working computer experience was an IBM S/360/20. I always say the best way to learn something is to teach it to someone else...
Plenty of help here, don't be shy about asking (and you probably know how to ask *well* by now... Paul |
My 1st IBM experience was an IBM 1410, 1410 ??? in 1959 - OMG

You only need to know that linux is not some oddball deal. The concepts that you have learned will just be used in linux with new names usually and new options.
You might talk your company into a boot camp for Red Hat too. |
