new to Linux, need help
 

Hey guys, I want to make a card game (if anyones interested and has played Star Wars KOTOR, i'm trying to make Pazaak). What I need to know is what is a GOOD, EASY!!!!, AND SIMPLE (as far as non ativex or open gl) graphical programming language to use in linux. In winblows I would have VB and others. Please provide any help you can

I would recommend GTK2 and Glade, with emacs for editing. It is not much like Visual Basic, but I believe it's better.

I guess you could try Anjuta if you want an IDE, but typically VB-style development environments aren't needed and are not all that popular on Linux. All you need is a text editor and compiler.
