New PC Monitor Sleep Mode?

New PC with Ubunto 12.4. Keyboard & Mouse installed. Samsung Monitor switches Analog / Digital which is normal. Then to sleep mode. As per Samsung I disconnected the Monitor from PC, & turned it on, as normal it reported no signal. So why when hooked up the keyboard or mouse can't get the Monitor out of 'Sleep Mode' (blinking on light)? Monitor worked fine with old PC before power supply cooked the electronics. New PC was 'tested' that everything was working before shipping. Thanks NL

Please check the installation of system on your new pc or you may check your video card, video card driver. Also check your pc if it is hung.
