Question New Linux User

Hi, I am new to Mandrake 10.1. I want to install it on my hard drive, but I am not sure how to do it without crashing my computer. I am currently running Window's 2000 Pro and I want to switch to Linux. I have downloaded Mandrake 10.1 and burned it to 3 data cdrs. Please help me.....

Just boot you computer with the 1st CD
& make your way up to the heven;-)

patrickbrochu3 - just do a search for "dual boot" within LQ. You'll see that this comes up a lot.

Boot with your install CD. Mandrake installer is easy to use with step by step instructions
