New kernel 4.4.0-34-generic in security update yesterday for trusty 14.04 LTS not compatible with home wifi network!

Am operating Ubuntu OS version 14.04 LTS on my Dell Inspiron 15 and it was working fine up until a security download update yesterday. I was told to reboot after the download but when I did, it immediately cut off my home wifi connection network and still won't connect unless I connect direct to my modem with Ethernet cable.

I know what the problem is because I managed to get into my grub boot loader menu and can reboot wireless without cable to make the connection and gain access to the internet. But once I shut down and reboot it uses the latest new kernel in the menu once again and won't connect. Then I again have to go back into boot loader menu again and manually reboot with the previous kernel recovery mode program.

I need to remove latest downloaded kernel so it will once again boot up and connect automatically like in the past but I don't have enough experience with root terminal commands and procedures.

Can anyone confirm a sure and fast solution that is the easiest because I'm not a very exp root terminal guru with commands?
