New Kernal
Where do i get the source for a new kernal? i am following the walkthru in the Slack forum but not sure where to get the accual source for it. Thx

i'll bet you can.... just make sure when you edit your boot loader to make sure the reference to the old kernel exists, in case something happens (basically don't uninstall the old kernel or remove references from /etc/lilo.conf (/etc/grub.conf?) and as a recommendation.. do an 'lspci' as root to help determine what hardware drivers to compile. it's not that hard really

lol i dont even know where to put the file i got from that site...=P it was a patch file so i dont know if it was the right one....heh
