new debian install ... whats' next? xwindows??

I just finished FTP install of debian...

I thought I selected packages (x win, cde, etc, etc) during the install, but I don't see them. Where would they be if everything installed correctly? I dont' see any X11 directory or anything relating to xwindows.

Is there a way to re-run the install for those packages?

Where can I get a desktop environment?

you could use dpkg to reconfigure your packages. . See man dpkg for the right settings. If you look in /etc you should see a X11-directory if X is installed. You can also look in dselect to see what is installed. (type dselect ). For X you can install XF86Config te configure. I think it has to be installed seperatly, look in dselect to see if you have it installed or not
