rather than installing a completely new distro, maybe you should try accomplishing more tasks from the command line. Of course, I am assuming you are using KDE or GNOME or the like. Boot to the command line (default runlevel 3, at least for me), and only switch to X when you need to.

there you go. I didn't even know what you were refering hey tell me how this is or at least how to learn this..maybe i still need learn more of fedora
