networking issue
 

i have several computers in the netwrok. All machines are xp, i have 1 redhat 9.0 linux machine. The netowrk is wireless, all machines are either dlinks 520+ or linksys usb wusb11 ver2.6. The linux box is using the 520+ pci card. All computers can see and communicate with one another, however....

One of the xp machines which uses the linksys usb wireless is not accessible thourgh the linux machine. The linux box can see and ping the xp box in question though. I just cannot accesss it, says i don't have access or it can't display the contents. There is no other anomaly on the network. All machines can access each other properly. Just this one xp box is not being accessed through the linux system.

Anyone have an idea on what is happening here?

Wait your trying to access the windows box with the linux box? Or are you trying to access a service at the linux box through the windows? Is this a file sharing e.g. samba or internet connection sharing?
