Has anyone tried these type of cable <moderated>?

looking to buy a couple and wonder whats the difference between those and normal ones at local stores?

If it's cat6, then it's suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and below. There shouldn't be any issue with signal degradation over the standard round cat6 cables provided that the flat cable has twisted pairs.

This stuff is pretty handy if you have to run it underneath carpeting or the like.
