Network Windows and Linux

Hello,

New to linux and looking for information on how to connect a windows desktop to a linux server for file access. Would like to map a share created on the linux server using a login script also. Any ideas?

not a networking question. Networking is about cables, IP addresses, firewalls and switches, not file sharing.

You need samba. There are a ton of threads and how-to's.
