network problem in centos5.5

I have installed CENTOS 5.5 just before 10 days ago.. working with samba, squid, fetchmail, sendmail etc..

The problem is occurring that every 20 or 30 minutes its network link has broken. When i tried to ping it from client it seems OK. But when i try to connect with any network or samba share it wont connect.

IF i restart network service then network work well again.

What can be the reason. Please help me out..

Check error on network interfaces. If you find any then it could be problem with the cable.
