Network Issue

Dear Linux Experts,

Host Machine : Windows 7 ultimate
Guest Machine : OEL 5.11
Virtual Machine : Workstation (vmware)
Linux machine has been updated using yum from OEL 5.5 to 5.11

I have experienced similar issues with wireless when suspending a computer. I just put it down to the network connection's having been suspended along with everything else. The only computer I ever suspend is a laptop that uses a wireless connection.

A web search for "lose network on suspend" turns up several suggestions for workarounds for this. I didn't pick just one because I've not tested any of them.
