network issue in ml350 g3 os RHEL4 advace server
 

hai,
I am using hp ml350-rhel4-AS am using two ethernet card(onboard,add-on-card),after i upgrade the server linux 8.0 to RHEL4 AS
I take a full backup of server of linux 8.0 afer installation & extract in rhel4,nw i cnt able to save the changes in netswork.if any change setting done on next boot old configuration is config.

THE PROBLEM ARE:

1)Eth0 having ip address but the lan cable IS CONNECTED IN Eth1.-network status ok.

2)having ip address Eth0 is active - no ip address eht1 is inactive cable is connected -network status ok.

wat are the entries of network in rhel4
