Does Linux support the configuration of network interface card? What does Fedora use to activate the NIC?

Seriously??? Would it make any sort of sense, to make an entire operating system, that DIDN'T support network connections?? Most of the entire Internet is unix and/or Linux based.

And it depends on what version of Fedora you're talking about. The 'standard' Linux utility is ifconfig, but each distro has their own tools to make configuring things easy.

Support for a large number of nic's are built to each "distro".

If not then there are basically two ways to add in support. One is a native linux driver and the other is using a windows driver.
