unfortunately Linpus is an outdated version of Linux. Linpus is only available preinstalled and noone would install it on his/her computer, so it is difficult to help you.
Long story short, you'd be better off to install a modern fullfeatured Linuxdistribution on the computer. Look at Ubuntu (they have a special Netbookedition)
