Network Drops...
Ive setup my Fedora6 to accept VNC connections, and the VNC works fine. The box is setup in a remote site, and while Im there working on it, I can VNC fine. After enough time for me to get back to the office (10 minutes), I cant even ping the box anymore. I can go "wake it up" and the NIC comes back up. Ive adjusted the settings and thought that would fix the problem, but it hasnt. Any ideas?

It seems it fails for all network services, not just VNC. It means it's probably more general-configuration stuff. Are you sure the machine does not go to suspend etc state when it turns off the NIC?
