network dies

My netwrok dies, I could not connet internet.

I could not see Inet Addr at ifconfig command.

How can I fix this?

You should provide more details of the problem when you enter a question. You should always include the name and version of your distribution. Additionally it would be helpful in this case to know more about how the problem presents itself. Does the network ever work? Does it 'die' when you are running specific software or after a regular amount of time or is it completely random? Are you talking about a cabled connection or wireless or 3G? What hardware do you have? Are you connected directly to the Internet or through a home router or though a LAN at work?

Please provide the requested information. It will make it easier for other people here to understand the problem.

And it wouldn't hurt if you took a little bit more time to correct your spelling and grammar.

My box is centos 5.2 32bit.
And this centos is in vmware with bridged network - 192.168.0.4.

rpm -qa | grep inet
xinetd-2.3.14-10.el5

I am not familiar to linux, so my question is not so detailed.
If possible, please ask information with how to get.
