Maybe I wasn't clear enough... BTW The info you've just provided was helpful - now I know how it looks like. Have one question, through. What is the table starting with 'Routing Table Entry List ' from? Am I right when thinking it's from your router?

Not important if the answer is yes or no, please boot to your Linux , log in as root (or log in as your normal user, open a terminal like konsole, xterm etc, type 'su' and provide root password when you're asked) and run
route
Please post the results. I don't see it above (or maybe I've missed it?).

LINKSYS is probably set up OK. Please try another thing. Run
traceroute linuxquestions.org

What do you get as result?

The result: ( I think it's bad )

It's strange. You get proper name resolution, so connection to your nameserver works. Try to ping
1) linksys
2) the nameserver 10.16.12.5
