Network Comfig

I'm new and not to smart when it comes to Linux. Trying to correct the situation, at present. Installed Mandrake (v6.5 - it was handy) and there was no "Linksys" adapter when trying to install. Blew by it and continued the installation. From the "configurator", I put in all the necessary information IP / Sub-Net / g/w / DNS ......... Now trying to discover the secret of installing the drivers.

I went through 500 posts before deciding to post this request for help.

Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

Tried looking for "elementry" a step-by-step approach reguarding installing devices and came up short

You are using an older version of Mandrake. It is possible that there is no wireless support in Mandrake 6.5.
