Network Card trouble in Redhat Linux 9

I am a novice with Linux, I just installed Redhat Linux 9 using the 3 iso images available at redhat website , ie
using shrike-i386-disc1,2 &3.iso

My system is Amd Ethlon 1.4 ghz, 512 MB & was earlier running Windows XP Professional. It had some n/w card (which I don't know), but it was all properly installed & I used to be able to connect to my Yahoo DSL via D-Link router...

But, after installing Linux 9 on the same system, (wiped out the XP), my new installation has not detected any n/w (ethernet) card?? What could be the problem? How can I confgure my system to connect to my existing network/router/dsl....

Please help me out...

Moved: This thread is more suitable in a more technical forum like Linux-Newbie and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves. Member Intro is a great place to say 'hello', but not for technical threads.

What kind of card is it? USB, standard internat Ethernet card? Please post results of the following commands (run them as root: open a terminal - konsole, xterm etc, then use command 'su', type root password when asked and then the commands):
cat /proc/pci
