network card not picked when installing centos 5


hi all

i have just installed centos 5 on my laptop a Toshiba 5105-S702 but the network card has not been picked.i suspect it could be the issue of drivers.can guys help me on where to get the drivers and install them.

Hi hardley, Welcome to lq. We'll need some more information to help you. Open a terminal and please post the output from the following commands.
Code:
/sbin/lspci -v
/sbin/lsmod
/sbin/ifconfig -a

hi

thanx so much for the help u have given me.well i have reinstalled centos agian and it managed to pick the card.so everything is fine now.however, i would like to thank so much coz the commands u have given me will help me in future to determine how to solve the problem if it emanates again.

You're welcome, we'll all still be right here if you have any more problems. Just for your reference, the command functions above listed in the same order here are, list pci devices, list loaded modules, and network interface configuration options.
