Network Card and Mandrake


i tryed getting into mandrake awhile ago, and wireless networking ...i installed Mandrake 10 and bought a belkin wireless card.. sadly couldnt figure out how the hell to ge that card to work ..

So instead of going wireless im just gonna get a normall network card and plug it into my router !

Whats the best network card to get??? that will work fine !

Im downloading Mandrake 10.1 DVD version now


Any help guys

I have used Via Rhine and Realtek based network cards ok on Linux. I am sure I bought them from ebuyer as well and on the product specs, they list whether they work with Linux.

Ive installed Mandrake 10.1 and i went in hardware and its detetcing that i got a wireless card etc.... belkin .. broadcom or something.... i go and run config for it and it asks me which driver it wants... which one is it :S

Isn't the type of the chip used by the card listed somewhere on the device or documentation. This usually gives you an idea about which drivers to use.
