Network Browser

is there a graphical network browser so its more like a windows based environment where u have all the workgroups listed and when u go into it it has all hosts or something along those lines. just asking as im going to a LAN party. and it would be a nuissance to browse it the old way.

nautilus

u can:

smb://your_workgroup

( i think smb:// will list ur network).

not @ home to see how this works. but will this list ALL the available networks so i can jump in and out and scour shared drives/folders? just asking since I mean. not everyone @ a 500 person lan have the same network names..

I think that Konqueror also has an "easy to use" interface for this. I've never tried it, but maybe also look into Lin Neighborhood, I'm sure I have the name wrong, but it's close to that. It might also be what you are looking for... At this LAN party, will everyone there be using SAMBA, is this an integrated OS LAN party, or what?

Cool
