Netscape Radio, Radiotower, realplayer help......

I have learned the joy of listening to internet radio. I would like to experience that now on my linux box,

I have downloaded real player and have installed the rpnp.so in the
/usr/local/netscape/plugins directory.

Now I attempt to connect to radio.netscape and at first I can listen to the test message, but now all I get is a
Contacting......
Message.

Also, I would really like to listen a radio station that I found on
radiotower.com, but it required windows media player. What can I use on linux to take the place of that....

thanks
Larry

It is possible that the contacting... message may be caused by RealPlayer being blocked by the firewall. You may want to urn off the firewall for a second and try RealPlayer again. If it works, Google to find the pors RealPlayer needs and poke holes in the firewall for it.
