Netscape 6.2
 

I'm at wits end! I have Suse 7.1.I have tried over and over to install Netscape 6.2 using Netscape's instructions.I downloaded the tar.cgi file to /home/mark/.When I tried to untar the file per the instructions(both tar and gzip) I get "no such file or directory".If I just click on the tar file I get a "thank you for downloading Netscape 6.2" screen in Konqueror and a "save to disk" message from Konqueror.Now I get the tar file.If I click on that I get the netscape-installer directory.If I try click on this I get "no such file or directory" when I know this is a directory.Was I suppose to log in as "root" or something?I successfully installed AOL IM,so I think there may be hope for me.:newbie:

mozilla requires that you be root to install it, so you probably need to be root for netscape 6 as well.
