Net-install Debian Sarge HOWTO?
Hello,
Would just like to say quickly "Thank you for your tireless work and suffering labouring for us newbies. Your assistance is gratefully appreciated! God Bless you all!!" :D Phew! I needed to say that... I have a Compaq Armada E500 (P3 800, 128mb RAM, 50Gb HDD, CD and FD drives) I have a copy of knoppix STD (got the wrong one by accident :newbie: ) I have a cable connection to the internet, but no CD burner around. How would I go about installing Debian Sarge straight from the internet? is it possible? a where-to-go and what-to-do would be wonderful. I did try googling it and there was little success, but while you fine and heroic lot answer yet another newbies wining problems, I will do that which is responsible and google away! Chaps Away! Stimz. :Pengy: |
If you do not have a cd burner you can use floppies.
