Question net connection thru linux

i have an internal modem & have no problem connecting net thru windows. But linux does not detect my modem.
my linux driver is
which is a winzip file
i don't know how to install it .
please guide me .
I am very new to linux.

please follow this instruction :
1. type tar -xvf hsflinmodem- in your directory location from the shell prompt.
2. then wait until progress to un-archiving has finished.
3. if you use mandrake or redhat you can use linuxconf from shell prompt.
