ok. i am a noob. i use a dual boot setup. on my windows os i use aol (i know, i know!). when on linux (mandrake), if my modem worked, can i use my aol subscription to use the internet or do i have to pay extra? ie, using uklinux as an isp instead. sorry if this doesnt make sense. i have no idea myself

well that's his official toe-the-line spiel... he probably thinks that linux is a virus... as the link i gave you shows.. it's very possible, and many many people are usign it fine.
