Unhappy nessusd postinstallation error Ubuntu 6.06 dapper drake

Hi,
I installed nessus on my Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper drake. I got error in starting nessusd. Then I removed all the package. again reinstalled, but I am getting the following error. Also, if I try to install anything new, it installs but shows the following at the end. I am new in linux.

Setting up nessusd (2.2.6-0ubuntu2) ...
update-rc.d: /etc/init.d/nessusd: file does not exist
dpkg: error processing nessusd (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
nessusd
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Thanks.
