Nemo Crashing almost Constantly, SegFault - Mint 17

Linux Mint 17 x64 with Cinnamon.

Nemo is crashing a lot. Running from terminal to see errors:
Code:
~ $ nemo
Opens fine, no errors yet. Then right-clicking on a file, I get:

Code:
(nemo:9975): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: g_object_get_valist: object class 'NemoMenuItem' has no property named 'widget-a'
Segmentation fault
and Nemo crashes.

Can't do much without it crashing. Right click on files = crash, double click files = crash, etc. The weird thing is, double-clicking a file will open the file OK, but Nemo crashes regardless.

.xsession-errors:
Code:
Window manager warning: Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0 for 0x3200001 (Bug #13363)
Window manager warning: Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0 for 0x3200001 (Bug #13363)
Thoughts?

Why are you trying to run a GUI program (like nemo) from a command line?
What did you do to cinnamon to cure any problems?

Because it keeps crashing, and I want to see errors for troubleshooting purposes.

I had a system update break stuff - namely, the login screen and desktop were squished/wrong resolution and I was getting a continuous "Cinnamon has crashed. Now running in fallback mode. Would you like to restart Cinnamon? Y/N". I thought it was video driver related, so I went after that. That broke it even further, to the point where I would just get a black screen and cursor on login. Then I went after Cinnamon.

Trying to install --reinstall Cinnamon failed, something about broken packages held. So I did a few aptitude -f install cinnamon, which revealed missing packages and wrong versions. After that, I had my desktop back and everything looked fine, but now the Nemo issue has cropped up. I think the system update must have borked something important.

You need to provide more info:-
Graphics card:
Code:
inxi -Gxx
What does your repository list show?
Code:
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*
Personally, I think you may have to backup your data & re-install, because you have multiple attempts at a fix there.

Yeah I think I must've borked something good trying to fix the original break.

I've since reinstalled with no issues.
